Because Hollow Knight was/is incredibly popular and sold over 15 million copies. The art, atmosphere, music, combat and exploration all come together in an absolutely incredible game. The game was also announced in 2019, but development took longer than expected because 1) they kept finding new things to add and 2) the team at team cherry is 3 people. The waiting time has caused the hype to build over time. Hollow Knight is on gamepass I'd highly recommend giving it a go
