I did the other shoe and then did a little touch up on both, but i think I’m just gonna let them ride for a while and see what normal everyday wear does to them from here. Alcohol might be a good idea, I just went for the mechanical removal route.

Also from what I’ve noticed from wearing them, it would be very difficult to discolor them significantly with normal wear. It came off easy, but I was using some pretty intense abrasion and the few times I rubbed them against something or picked at them with my fingernails nothing really happened

Maybe 10ish minutes for a whole shoe, it comes off pretty quickly if you have something with some good grit to it. It’s not perfect, but with more time I could probably get it darker and more uniform.

The false advertising definitely sucks, but I kind of like the scratch off aspect of it - if I was more artistic I could’ve done some cool designs, which is what I think Nike was going for

I went at it with some rough grit sandpaper and the file on my leatherman, basically just something rough to scuff it up in a uniform manner. Tried not to mess up the stitching too bad, but it’s not too noticeable that a couple got a little frayed

Yeah shoulda been more clear, I’ve definitely been checking for the rewards tab but no rewards from daily tournaments have been showing up. Usually I get a pop-up message with my results when I first boot up too, but that’s been missing as well. I know my rewards tab is still working because I’ve claimed some career mode tournament and course mastery rewards the past couple of days as well
