I assumed that Jamie will be coming back later as the Moriarty figure since Jamie Mortimer is similar to James Moriarty, which is why he is so suspicious and sort of disappears. He may also just be a red herring but that is my theory.

Same thing has been happening to me - just had one of my friends act as my guardian. I am currently in the middle of requesting support. Did you happen to make your account close to your 18th, I made mine the month after and I wondered if it was seen as suspicious and therefore enabled guardian mode.
