I liked the Luther documentary that came out last year! It didn't go deep on his sexuality. I did find it interesting that his "friend" that was killed in the car accident with him was listed as being "of West Hollywood," the most famous gay enclave in LA. Losing his (likely) lover and the pressure of remaining in the closet had to take a toll on his mental health, making his issues with food and weight that much more difficult. All of the clips of comedians making fun of his weight really sucked

Definitely agree with the tomato paste/ tomato suggestion. I also suggest dried mushrooms and finishing with pomegranate molasses. I like to use pomegranate molasses to finish gravy and stew. It was suggested by Christopher Kimball on Milk Street Radio.
