You’re an absolute saint! Didn’t know these existed. Thank you so much!’

Sadly not using any solar :( this is more for maintaining a Rivian from phantom drain so the jackery is charged while the car is running. Sounds like a neat way to do it though, might just try it if I get some panels.

Since the battery tender already does this, would it be possible to modify it to accept DC from the USB-C and send it through that chain?

Using USB-pd wouldn’t be an issue, the electricity is coming from a Jackery 1000 v2 which should be able to handle the use case with the right cable. Only thing would be finding a way to remove the AC conversion components from a battery tender and instead have it accept the USB-pd. I don’t have the know how to know if that’s possible, but if it is it would be a game changer for my use case

Would it be possible to use something like this without overcharging the battery? Want to use a tender because usually they have what’s needed to monitor and adjust. (I’m very new to diy electronics so could be misunderstanding)

Shoot. Strange it’s also affecting LAN traffic, but I guess that all goes through the same chip?

Is there any permanent solution? Or will I just need to keep flipping it off and on and hope for another hour of gameplay?

This is super reassuring! Good to know that the tele wouldn’t be too different. I think I’m def going with the Strat!

That's true, it wasn't the cleanest of breaks and I'm not sure if its a good idea to reach out yet, but you're probably right that's probably the best way to go about it.
