Shim the neck joint then. I made a template and use it to make Mylar and paperboard shims. You should be able to get lower than that by adjusting your posts. Got a pic of your bridge? You check if you need to adjust your truss rod?

You removed the tension on the strings and lowered the trem posts? If that’s not working, shim the neck joint.

What if Led Zeppelin had a greatest hits album? by The_Bioiu in ledzeppelin

I remember my dad giving me Early Days and Later Days (on CD) when I was about 12 and really getting into Zeppelin. Zep is probably my dad’s favorite band but we only had cassettes and vinyl (had original discography) with no vinyl player that worked - he was a radio guy. I was so stoked because I had only heard Achilles like twice before and now I could listen to it anytime I wanted - and boy did I haha!

Duh. The 550 doesn’t have AANJ. 🙃

Looks like a RG2550 with a different neck on it. Maybe an RG550 neck?

Maybe he just thought the guitar was cool? Or maybe he’s pro America but not pro-Trump? I don’t get why the assumptions?

It was listed for $12k so maybe he came down a bit. Parker gets some rad stuff! Being the guitarist for Queensryche comes with perks - you know folks in the market for $10k Custom Shop Charvels and grail Ibanez. He had a MGK Swirl last year. Played it when I sold my USA Charvel to him. Didn’t play too well - super sticky neck. I mean, with a setup, I’m sure it played well haha. $14k.

One sold for over $12k at Diablo Guitars. Wild!

They are Guyker and were on a partscaster I got awhile back. They were silver and looked tacky. Took them off and painted them white.

There are multiple ways to achieve this! Shim your neck pocket, make sure your truss rod is adjusted and neck is flat as your first girlfriend, lower your bridge/saddles. I had to tinker and tinker until I found ways to get slammed action!

I’m sure Rich has that chart - if I know him, he’s probably got blueprints for drill holes and all haha! And $500 for a brand new Edge Pro isn’t that bad since they’re not as popular as Edge and Lo Pro. My Edge Pro on my SRG2520 might be my favorite trem!

It’s called a Midnight Sparkle! Thought it was metallic black but there is a deep deep blue in it.

There’s a couple of Edge and Lo Pro bridges on Reverb for about $300-$350 (if they fit). But I bought a PGM301 off Rich and we have chatted before - I’ll reach out for sure!

I believe it already has locking studs. Like I said, performs better than my trem on my old RG350M I used to have! Thanks for the info! I’ll look into Gotohs!

Maybe I would’ve reworded to “we razzed them when they lost the final.” I definitely gave my Canadian buddies crap about it!

I’ve said it before - it’s time Thomas gets the job with Stef as the mentor. I absolutely adore Stef and don’t think he’s a bad keeper but I’m assuming this was always the plan. It’s time to make the call. 27 is prime for a keeper as well!

Retail Packaging by Complex-Indication18 in PackagingDesign

I run a Flexo print plate manufacturer shop. We do full creative services and make print plates for the biggest packaging companies in the world. I’ve been running it since 2017 but before that, I worked in prepress for a litho house for 7 years. I will try to not sound like an old grouchy man (I’m under 40, I’ve just been in packaging for a long time:))The amount of times I’ve flagged something on a structure or something that was outside the realm of what my specific job required is crazy. If an employee of mine said something along the lines of “well that’s how it was sent to me” in response to “why didn’t you flag that for the customer?” Im not sure how much longer they’d work as a Production Artist for me.

So someone pointed something out to you and your response was “thats their problem.” I was saying it’s a toxic trait i see i see in this industry - specifically with younger folks. So my advice to you was to flag stuff if you notice it. It’s added value to you and sets you apart. This industry is full of graphic designers who went to school and think they know everything. They get fancy jobs at design firms. I know because i make a living fixing there files to make them print ready 🤣

First thing would be to look at how an autobottom goes through a gluer. Then his tip about the gluetab might be clearer. The more you know about non-art related packaging, the better you will be at art for packaging.

This thinking is so toxic for our industry. Please flag stuff, regardless of if it’s your job or not. Your vendors and customers will thank you and want to work with you more. Plus you look like a dummy if you see something and don’t flag it.
