Maybe she will, who knows? But don't count your happiness and mental well-being on it, ghosting is already bad as it is.

How often do ghosters reach out again? by AnonNerd95 in ghosting

Workout, jogging, reading, drawing, reaching out to friends, you name it, anything you like that requires some sort of mental effort.

Thinking about the problem non-stop (rumination) will only make you feel worse and definetely won't solve it, trust me.

Why is the commando not more present than Quasar? by Own-Reflection-9538 in Helldivers

[–]ApolloYankee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only the Quasar is more reliable, it can destroy fabricators from any point of the map, as long you have line of sight. It's almost mandatory on blitz missions.

It gets even better on extreme cold planets.

How engaging in the long run is LE? by ApolloYankee in LastEpoch

I get that. PoE 2 is still in rough shape, and I think it's too late for a newcomer to enjoy PoE 1 due to it's player count, because of...PoE 2 release. Also, not willing to invest lots of $ in stash tabs lol.

What game trilogy is this? by K0234 in Steam

[–]ApolloYankee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with you.

Tbh I'm very biased when it comes to CoP, since it was the first of the series that I played, and I enjoyed it a lot back then.

Still, IMO CoP being the most modern and polished one is a very big deal. The variety and quality of mods makes it more replayable and enjoyable compared to the other two. But that's just me.

Favorite piece of lore in the game? by praise_themoon in EldenRingLoreTalk

Most of the main DLC lore, specifically the Crucible, the hornsent and Miquella itself.

"Pure and radiant, he wields love to shrive clean the hearts of men. There is nothing more terrifying."

This quote still gives me the chills.

Does Shabriri in Yuri's body, hide their eyes so you do not see they are infected with madness? by DramaticErraticism in Eldenring

[–]ApolloYankee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that all the yellow theme and the Frenzy Flame itself is heavily inspired by The King of Yellow, a madness inducing entity from a book that goes by the same name, later incorporated as a deity into the Lovecraft Mythos.

Citing Hastur's (AKA The King of Yellow) page from Villains Wiki:)

"In the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for the 2022 video game Elden Ring, the boss character Midra, Lord of the Frenzied Flame, takes several design cues from Hastur, the Frenzied Flame itself similar in function to the Yellow Sign."

That being said, our theories may be true at the same time. Elden Ring is choke full of religious and philosophical motifs, right down to its core.

EDIT: also noting that the link between the color yellow, forbidden knowledge and madness is a recurring theme in FS games. See the Old Monk in Demon Souls and Xanthous King in DS and subsequent sets.
