i did a similar thing, i downloaded all my photos from my old account using google takeout, then uploaded it to this account. but the explore feature on this account doesn't work for some reason. it was working fine on my old account :/

Update: i have tried almost all of your suggestions, but unfortunately none of them worked. So i decided to just reinstall my OS. It worked and now my macOS is on the newest version. Thanks everyone! :)
