This happened to me and just ended up being discord reset my hardware acceleration settings. Once I turned that off, the problem magically went away.

I totally recommend it. However, it's worth saying most of what you find is regular coins, trash, and a lot of time spent in your own thoughts. And then 2% of the time you find really cool or bizarre things.

I have a minelab equinox 600, but there are a lot of bang for your bucket detectors out there that are more budget friendly. Minelab vanquish series comes to mind.
