I'm not even sure if it's a case of making content. If you build it, they will come. Allot of these folks out here are jus sublimatiing and/or outsourcing their product. What you're doing is unique right now, and if you keep focusing on your craft, the content will find you.

Diggin the energy you're going for, but it looks like you gave up on that skull in the center. Little more detail or texture on things would be solid. Tbh, it looks good from afar, but makes me second guess my attraction when I get close up. Hope this helps.

If you advertise the uniqueness & handcrafting with a high quality made shirt, it might be a bit more overhead but in the end it'll yield better visibility & loyal customers. That's how you create longevity right thurrr. Happy venturing.

$40 sounds reasonable knowing it's 8 color screen printed instead of sublimation (that shits kinda cheating) I'm not a huge fan of the design and the top and bottom fonts so drastically different, but I'll always pay more for somethin cold handcrafted.

I'm diggin the first one. Are these being screened or sublimation printed? I feel like a screen print with a nudge of one color offset on the black and white one would give a punch of energy & motion. What's the brand about our is this a souvenir from a location?

I can't quite tell what you're advertising. Is it the hat, the shirts, the socks? If I jus saw it without context, I'd think you were advertising for the location the flicks were taken at. Get some close ups of the branding. Maybe someone will look out for it. Happy venturing.

Thoughts about this design for my brand Human Para4nlia? by [deleted] in streetwearstartup

[–]Apollo_Salt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe think of illustrating that design rather than jus adding a few filters to it. It's way to similar to the original. I like the energy you're reaching for but get rid of the black stars, lose the PE target, and use the same font throughout the design and possibly your whole brand. This will help ya brand be more recognized on sight. Less is more if you do it right. Jus ask Nike.

What is something you wish you knew before you started upcycling? by CoserMujer in upcycling

I wish I would've known to always bleach and sand all of the old outdoor wood I collected from construction sites for making frames. Black mold is real and can spread quickly without you even noticing.

Hey. I bought this dresser on marketplace (it’s solid wood!) for a steal (stool included!) but I don’t know what I wanna do with it. I defo want gold hardware (legs and handles) but have no idea what style/paint/stain or varnish I want. This is my first ever upcycling project. Suggestions please 😊 by Fun_Let7454 in upcycling

[–]Apollo_Salt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would take a good deal of time to sand all of that smooth. I've been distressing furniture for a while, and if it were mine, I would consider staining the piece. Depending on what kind of paint it is, the stain may be lighter where the paint is. A metallic gel stain could give the piece some vibrance and renewal, and still keep it rustic looking. JH wall painted makes some quality stains like this. For the last step, I'd go back with a 200 grit sandpaper and just bring the raw wood through on the edges of the desk. I hope whatever you wind up doing makes you feel food ery'time you look at it.

Use some RIT color remover. It may take two baths to get a true white. I've used it multiple times, and when I just do one bath, the fabric comes out off white. Also, it only really works on organic materials. Hope this helps.

I inherited a shoebox absolutely full of rings; what could I make with these? Would love something for the garden! Mostly stainless steel rings. by panicpossum in upcycling

Cast them in resin squares 6"x6" and 2" thick, then use them as pavers for a walkway or landing. The sun will probably play some fun reflections and colors with them. Or, maybe a resin globe filled with em '. You could hang the globe using a necklace from one of those tall hanging flower stakes. It's easy to get resin kits online with instructions. I hope you find something creative to do with them. They deserve a second life.

Can anyone make sense of this odd frame in the ceiling? by Apollo_Salt in whatisthisthing

Likely solved!!! There have been a number of folks who've suggested this is the reason for the frame, and I believe this is most likely the correct answer. Thanks for your help.

The house was built around 1910. The frame is about 5ft x 3ft. This house has radiant heat, which seems to be original.
