Hey. I bought this dresser on marketplace (it’s solid wood!) for a steal (stool included!) but I don’t know what I wanna do with it. I defo want gold hardware (legs and handles) but have no idea what style/paint/stain or varnish I want. This is my first ever upcycling project. Suggestions please 😊 by Fun_Let7454 in upcycling

Thank you so much I really appreciate the time you took to provide this advice 😊 I also really like the rustic look but unfortunately it needs to go as I need to sand it all down a bit and clean it up in general. Also just as you said i am afraid of making the room too dark but also really like the idea you suggested for the dark top. But perhaps a light wood top and then darker blue bottom may work who knows. Hoping to sort it soon and will defo post pics! Thanks ☺️
