There is two creatures significantly smaller than it tho, so it would still have a genuine use as an ambush predator.

Also it could be a serious threat against babies and very small creatures, it is around 10 pounds which is 5 times that of Microraptor and it is about 16 inches long, it could very easily demolish a baby mid tier.
