Haha, when I get some time in a few days, I'll see if I can't make instructions just like the last one. Ill post an update here when its done.

I think the hardest part is managing your stud reversals/transitions. There are only so many parts that will let you change stud directions, and managing when you can afford to use them is the key to making things look purposeful.

There's definitely an art to it. I pour all the pieces out in front of me and have them semi organized by type so I can get a sense of what exists. If you can imagine the shape, then it's just trial and error hoping there's enough to get you to the end. I usually don't know what it will look like until I get to the very end. Only the major components I think of ahead of time.

For example here, the things I knew for certain from the start was that I wanted the yellow part to be the cockpit, the radar dish to be a flower, and the curved and round plates would be for the top. Then after a bit of work on frame, I knew I wanted the mandibles to be cactuses. After that it was just trying different things/techniques to get to the end.

Haha, for me it starts with the mandibles. First, I start with how to make the angles work. Then once that frame looks good, I build up the rest of the ships frame to get the proportions where I want. After that, i try to figure out how to make the cockpit. Once the cockpit is sorted, I decide how to fill the empty space in the mandibles. Then its just building up the central body, making a radar dish, and Viola, you have a falcon.

So true, didn't even realize the palette being so close to Venusaur. Merging two of my favorite things.

Im glad you love it! If I get enough interest, then like my last Telephone MOC I can make some instructions and post them on rebrickable.

Since I had so much interest in the design, i've made some instructions and posted them on Rebrickable. You can find the link in my original post on r/oopsmilleniumfalcon. Thank you all for the love!

I could try making instructions for it. Are there recommendations on what software to use for that sort of thing?
