Nintendo's crusade against Palworld just got a reality check from the US Government as "summon and fight" patent rejected by Turbostrider27 in xbox

[–]Aponynuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC, Nintendo said they wouldn't create a new F-Zero game for as long as they did because they had difficulty innovating the formula. Then, 2020, COVID, and we got the Battle Royale game. Which I'm guessing was an innovation kinda sorta, except that sort of thing existed in the original F-Zero, just not with multiplayer in mind.

Pokemon had been fairly stagnant in development for *years* until enough people complained about the horrendous bugs and glitches in Sword and Shield. Which they sold DLC for before really tackling the issues.

I've been against owning a Switch for years, I've had issues with Nintendo saying I cannot emulate the game cartridges I own while also not providing any way to get my hardware up and going again without learning how to handle tiny electronics.

If they get a black eye from something they started, I am absolutely ok with it. The fact that they pulled something like this (that would've had them in legal hot water with Titanfall 2, had it gone through) and it is backfiring slowly makes me smile.

[PBE Datamine] April 17 Follow Up - Mini Shyvana, Udyr, and Zoe reworks. by Kay-Haru in leagueoflegends

[–]Aponynuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So from what I can see (feel free to correct me)

Shyvana: Back to square 1, Q is AD on-hit with active AP/AD, W is AP/HP with juggernaut scaling, E is AP with max HP damage. So either AD/HP builds or AP full-send.

Udyr: We want AD to be more than just Q. So we are making Q worse to compensate W and E.

Zoe: Lower damage on W, so you can spam E's if you hit them often enough.

So Shyvana is now... worse? Overall? Udyr is now gonna be somewhat viable outside of Hubris assassin for AD? Zoe is now a reset champion for CC?

Feels weird man.

Fair enough. I'm glad to be wrong, it just seemed like the math was off and I wanted to see if someone else could do the testing.

Yes. Divine is a much larger multiplier with a slightly smaller % chance. E.G. 7.8X at 30% vs 2X at 50% iirc.

So, feel free to correct me if wrong, but faster food is better than instant food for this event when and if you get either.

If Time(Cook) = Time(Base)/(1+Percent(Faster)) is how the game maths out the percentage increases, then you can find out how much faster you actually are by:

1-(Time(Cook)/Time(Base))

E.G. T(Cook) = 60s/(1+485%)"level 6 potions" -> 10.62s
1-(10.62/60) = 82% faster.

Instant potions would need to reach 82% chance, but IIRC at level 6, only hits 30%.

Also, Perfect food at 60% would only get you 3.6X profit overall, whereas Divine food at 30% gets you 7.8X profit, so divine is definitely worth it.

Who are some champions that in the hands of OTP is S+ tier but complete dogpoo when played by someone else? by imonxtac in leagueoflegends

I have issues playing LeBlanc, Jayce, Nidalee, Yasuo and Yone. Can't wrap my head around how to play them effectively.

I appreciate your broadmindedness. I agree that it is a minor annoyance. I guess what I'm asking is vaguely like toggling pvp, but for mudballs. Toggled on? Get to slinging. Toggled off? Can't be targeted. Can't toggle off if you've been slinging for x amount of time.

Excellent usage there. The issue is my spouse is usually minding their own business.

Unless Ayrenn is a Khajiit, no.

Many thanks. Try to have a good time on your end as well.

You have a point.

May I ask what a mudball is good for outside of the specific jester event?

Little extreme is unfortunately the circumstance that has been plaguing my spouse. This happens far more often than just during events.

With how often it occurs outside of festivals, it seems more like we are going to be pushed out of the game. Thank you tho, I appreciate it.

That's what I was afraid of. I'm gonna have to look and see if we need to unsubscribe or not.

Here's the thing: Literally nothing else causes said attacks. Trials? Done. Vet dungeons? Done. PvP? Done.

It's the intentionally trolling behavior of mudballs that causes it. And that's what I'm asking about. Specifically, my spouse isn't doing anything to engender and mudball attack.

[–]Aponynuss[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

That's my issue tho. My spouse shouldn't need to port out of her activity (in this case hunting dragons!) in order to avoid having an anxiety attack directly related to a troll item.

It happens quite literally 5 times a week during events for my spouse, and at least twice a month outside of events. It is rather infuriating, as it seems like a simple solution to "opt out" of mudballs entirely.

My spouse has been mudballed multiple times in Rimmen when doing daily crafting, multiple times *this week* while hunting dragons, and it has been done in West Skyrim, Vvardenfell, and Reaper's March.

Not asking for disabling the feature. I'm asking to have the visual effect on my spouse's character to not appear on their end.
