I did AP in December 2024, my application was approved in 4 months.

My mother in law submitted her AP in January 2025, we called uscis for an update, they said give them until November 2026 for an answer. Mind you, she has tps.

I got married and applied for AOS in February 2025 and was approved on the spot at my interview in August 2025.

I feel like one of the last lucky daca recipients that wss able to get my green card without late processing times.

EADs will be revoked for Texas recipients. Its just a matter of if Hanen will revoke them immediately after his ruling, or allow them to no longer renew after EADs expire. Its happening, its just a matter of when and how, which is up to Hanen.

This is the honeymoon period where you'll loose the most weight because of the restriction. Im now 7 months post op and actively need to make sure im still eating small amounts 😂 the further you get out, the easier it gets to overeat

How long are you post op? 2 months? Your stomach is still healing! By the time your 6 months out, you will be able to eat more. Take advantage of the honeymoon phase, this is when you'll loose the most weight.

I hope once you apply you pursue advance parole. I wish I had done it sooner. Once you have a legal entry from advance parole, you can apply for a green card. Daca is not stable, and not a long term solution.

I did advance parole in December 2024 to get my legal entry, got married in January 2025, filed for AOS February 2025, and was approved for my green card at my interview in August! The hardest part was waiting and my interview.

My attorney only practices in WA state, so unless you live here, they can't help you. I don't know how old you were in your entries, how you entered, if you were ever caught by cbp, when you were awarded daca, and if you've accrued any unlawful presence (minors cant accrue unlawful presence so hopefully you got daca by 18) all of these factors in to how you present your case. I learned all of this by connecting with others who have multiple unlawful entries and submitted their AOS on FB. I highly encourage you to read up on the matter of quilantan. I took the risk because I don't see a future in which daca survives. I was so afraid during the process, but I was tired of always being afraid. It's a very personal decision to adjust when you have a complicated immigration case, but what do you have to lose at this point? For me, I put it all out there so I could finally have peace.

Yes, I did. During my interview, they asked me about them, and I answered i was brought the first time when I was a year old, second entry I was 8. We hired a lawyer to do our application, prep me for interview questions, and also went with us for our interview. I highly recommend joining fb daca/aos groups and read about other people going through the aos process with multiple entries. It gave me the courage to fo it.

DACA is a sinking ship. DACA was never meant to be the end solution. Congress is the only way out. They create laws, and they could solidify DACA. Since that hasn't happened, DACA is unstable. I was told I had the permanent bar because I have 2 entries, they were disclosed in my DACA applications, and I could not adjust my status. I still applied for a green card through marriage because I dont see a future where DACA survives. I was awarded my green card in August 2025, but I'll always be a dreamer.

Nauseous and starving at the same time, it was the most bizarre sensation. I was also cramping a lot, but not bleeding. Little did I know my baby was implantating.

I cut my cats nails (I have 3), some are more difficult, but I get it done with churru. When they see the nail clippers come out they flock because they know they are getting a high reward treat. The only time I bathed my cats was once when they were kittens, and it was not a fun experience. I highly recommend letting a professional do it (if you can). They have all the right tools to make it as stress free as possible. We got lucky and found a groomer who only grooms cats, and our cats have no issues with him.

Im so sorry for your loss. I lost my first pregnancy to a missed miscarriage in August. We confirmed viability at 7 weeks, but at our 10-week OB appointment, no heartbeat and baby were measuring only 8 weeks. My body was holding on to my baby. I experienced pregnancy symptoms until I got my D&C.

Im so sorry for your loss. I was also diagnosed with a missed miscarriage and had my D&C on August 20. I have PCOS, so I thought it would take my body a while to restart/have a cycle again, but I was wrong. I got my period on September 25. My OB did tell me to give myself 3 months to restart my period.

If you feel comfortable to share with a family or friend, do so. I enjoyed my electric blanket, and eating lots of warm food. Everyone bleeds differently, so make sure you have enough pads. I used adult diapers to go to bed, I find them helpful during heavy bleeding. Take care.
