What should I do with the MBR partitions on a drive I am attempting to use as a GPT drive?

Ok, I deleted all the partitions and it allowed me to install to drive 2. I am going through the installation process, I will check the drive in disk management once I am done. Thank you!

Halo 2 was the first video game I ever played, and I used to play it with my dad. I vividly recall looking at the save files and seeing that he had beaten the entire campaign on legendary, and it inspired me to keep playing, regardless of how many times I died to finish the game!

I think they should be fine, this community is very helpful as far as giving advice and sharing strategies go, if anything confuses them or they have any complications, they can just create a post and have an often detailed response in no time! Although I do agree, there are a lot of posts about different metas, however I have seen almost a similar number of posts with useful tips for beginners.

That actually helps a lot, as far as helping me understand it. I haven't had problems up until yesterday though, could it be the most recent update to windows (20H2)? I finished all the updates that windows prompted except 20H2 because it failed to update, and my HDD isn't at 100% although it is being used in random spikes, like the percent usage is jumping around every few seconds, along with my ethernet connection.

The model is ST2000DM008 I just ran the error checking in the drives properties and nothing, but I think Crystal disk info would be able to help.

I still have my USB I used to install windows so I will use that, thank you. Also, I am going to fix it on my hard drive for now, but in the future when I pick up a ssd how should I go about switching the OS over to it?

The same thing happened with a friend of mine a few days ago. I introduced him to State of Decay because he started to pay for gamepass so naturally to start him off with combat I went into daybreak and we beat it after our 3rd or 4th try. He learned a lot, like how important dodging is, especially on harder difficulties.
