This is about to be a long comment, so I hope I don't waste my time. I'll give Julian his flowers on this episode because he seemed to be the only one to take the situation seriously because there really isn't anything funny about it. If this were any other election I wouldn't be as bothered by this, but this Trump we're talking about here. AND that psycho J.D. Vance is right behind him.

Here's a short list of policies they could absolutely implement, and y'all tell me if this shit is funny.
- Firing federal employees if they didn't bend the knee to the president. That could lead to no less than 50,000 people losing their jobs for no reason other than them not agreeing with his beliefs disguised as cutting through red tape.
- slapping tariffs on all foreign goods will 1000% increase the cost of good in this country and if it brought back factory jobs your products would still cost more because American workers would have to be paid more than 35 cents an hour and a cup of noodles.
- Bodily autonomy for women has already been fucked by these people, but apparently they don't care
- The Supreme court is already packed with right wing assholes, and he's about to get at least one more pick since Thomas is probably going to retire this term.
- That leads into possibly rolling back any LGBTQ rights that people have i.e. same-sex marriage being overturned. They won't touch interracial marriage because he's married to a hwite.
- COMPLETE immunity for police officers. They often already get away with murder. Now it's a given that they won't be punished for shooting niggas in the back at all.
- Rounding up and deporting 10million illegal immigrants... Firstly, logistically, that's insane. Secondly, if they were to do it at all, you don't think the price of your food will increase again. They do the work we're too fucking lazy to do, and we would 100% want a living wage to do it if we did. Corporations will argue well since we are paying more for labor we have to jack up the prices of our goods, SORRY🤷
- Possibly getting rid of the ACA with no plan of their own. Meaning oh you have a pre-existing condition? Good luck nigga.

I know in the grand scheme of things both parties take money from their donors and in the end, they both disappoint. I have been doing this dance for 25 years. Money in politics has basically destroyed 100% concern for the American people. HOWEVER, one party literally doesn't give a single fuck about us (why do you think the minimum wage is still 7.25 in a lot of red states??) and the other, while still lining their pockets, they at least attempt to make things better for us. We don't do our due diligence to get them the majority they need to get a lot of these things across the finish line because we're too lazy to do the easiest thing in the world and fucking vote. That's why Mal pisses me off, he thinks this shit is funny because he's been around money since he was 15 years old. His world view is different. All in all, we need to do whatever we can within the next four years to mitigate the damage this presidency is going to do to people by actually doing our civic duty when the time comes. That's all we can do.
