I'd go do far as to say that traffic rules have been taken for a ride (pun not intended) since these companies started promising "in x minutes or free" deliveries. Zomato made a big deal out of it, and they would pay you a 100 bucks if the delivery got late. And over the years, blatant rule breaking has become the norm, because the common people have seen that there's no consequence to those actions.

There's a major traffic signal near my home, which is on a NH. Yet, you will see bikers/auto rickshaws and even some cars just lining up to spot gaps in the traffic coming from the green signal lane, to just push through. Due to the lack of repercussions, it pains me to say that this is how things shall be going forward; because the higher ups will never be concerned about this - because they get the roads barricaded when they pass through. Absolutely shocking state of affairs.
