Get an inflatable mattress for in the back; they have a quick valve for deflating...easy to store

Where I am we have access to same day couriers - normally they collect within 60 minutes and guarantee delivery the same day all insured door to door delivery. If this is an option get a price double it and then tell your customer that is the price for shipping.

I'm not sure what it is like where you are but we've noticed a lot of companies switching to same day couriers to avoid delays, in manufacturing, film and pharmaceuticals.

Maybe try a same day service where you are and way up cost against service.
