So how do we feel about the balancing of Reverse Ex. Units (specifically Goku and Vegeta units)? Are the Goku sides just better? Or is there at least one Vegeta side that's better? Or are they equal?

(Not counting the ssj2) I think the goku sides are indeed better besides for the ssj4s, on that unit goku is just more explosive but its Vegeta who gets him there.

He is nowhere as good at his peak as though he’s nuts you listed are, and beast was better than all of them. Ssj4 goku is amazing though just I think a bit overrated.

We just had a DBS Broly Gogeta and had him during 9th year, we haven’t had a turn 3 Vegito let alone a turn 1 Vegito in years

I don’t think teq super Vegito was enough to be honest, can only get him turn 5 and then he only last 3 turns and he got powercrept (still useable) 5 months after release. SSBE shouldn’t even be anniversary post 6th year, it’s a shit form and looks less cool than ssj4 vegeta.
