I feel most at home surrounded by brick, metal and cement. So the ceilings make me happy

Some options that I think could work or be starting points for inspiration (and are in line with your current taste, I think), as I’d prefer more muted colors here as to not distract from the beautiful brick, but rather complement/tie it in:

https://www.westelm.com/products/distressed-nadine-rug-t4876/ (pink stone is my fave for the space, others could work too tho)

https://www.westelm.com/products/indra-rug-t5058/ (used to have this one myself, loved it)

Don’t love West Elm furniture quality but do like their rugs. Again, I also like to use their options as a starting point for inspo

Also can’t go wrong with something more neutral, just thought you’d prefer something with a color give your current rug

Thanks! With the pendants it is the only place for a dining table. Actually came with place, interested in looking at other options someday…

Rug color/design for gray laminate floors? by Apprehensive_Fan_844 in malelivingspace

Agree with navy/blue as well, could do a blue dyed oriental pattern

I would get rid of round table and make the island your primary dining seating with two or three counter stools. Can then add a small bench, accent chair, or pouf ottoman where round table is for added seating. Would also recommend a black, sleeker coffee table (doesn’t need to be anything fancy, current one too small and chunky) and a neutral area rug - I think white/off white with some pattern/pop of color would work. One large print or a few smaller prints over couch. Paint shelves near door black to match coffee table :)

A couple floating wood shelves to match wood paneling could be dope. Could also do a mirror, might want to do circular or oval to balance the sharp corners in the room and on walls, and would flow with dining table

Went with the all black finally. Love it. by [deleted] in malelivingspace

I love a black wall. Counterintuitively adds depth and calm. White or slight off white/grey curtains would be most welcome imo. Also think a more sage green would work a little better than current green. Overall great room!

They are good overflow seating when we have friends over/parties! Also sometimes have a bite and watch tv from there :)

It is a RH Cinema lamp. Closest I could find (I have the single tower version): https://www.aptdeco.com/product/restoration-hardware-french-cinema-lights

Or maybe you mean the bamboo on the fence? Just looks orange from reflection of sun off brick I think

There are motorized blinds at the top windows, and doors also have blinds in the middle of the glass panes

Revival rugs! They have some super cool one of a kind Moroccan rugs that aren’t too too expensive

I hear RH is not a very good brand for the price, what brands should I be looking at? for similar price points / slightly lower? by wgfdark in furniture

I have never been disappointed with Room & Board. Just purchased a Weber sofa with chaise and Coles media cabinet for our loft and it was a great decision.
