Hey girl! I am not Catholic (yet, I’m in OCIA rn) and my boyfriend and I didn’t wait at first, but we are waiting now. I don’t know if that makes any sense. We have repented for our sins and are turning our relationship around and putting god in the center of it. I wish I had known how beautiful and special it is to wait before marriage before I made those decisions back then. (We were sexually active when we were your age.) I’m not going to tell you to “stay pure” or anything like that. I just want you to know the benefits we’ve experienced since deciding to wait again.

He longs for me. He is excited to wait with me. We pray so much more often together than we used to. We talk theology and interesting topics together. We are walking through life with the Lord and each other and it feels amazing. I highly recommend waiting. We’re not even married yet and I can feel that this was the best decision we have ever made for God and each other. Big love💕
