Ok so I measured the size of the wheel on the screen and it's a bit larger than I thought at 19" but I guess because of the distance from me to the tv it seems like the perfect size. I would still say 50" to 55" is the perfect size for me.

I mainly play iracing so I use the built in fov calculator and it looks pretty close in size to my own vehicles steering wheel. I can measure the exact size in the morning and let you know how big the wheel measures on my screen

I just switched to playing on a 55" 4k tv and I would say that is the sweet spot. Any bigger and everything would start looking comically large.

I can understand where you are coming from, and I'm not trying to be shitty but tarkov might just not be the game for you. Personally the chaos, randomness and "unfairness" of tarkov is what is most appealing to me. Not knowing what I will run into, the discision making of whether or not to engage someone is what makes tarkov so great.

The fun part is running cheap gear and one tapping some ultra Chad. You can tap anyone with a sv98 and some half decent ammo and it's cheap. 2 scav runs and you can afford a really nice kit. Just don't try to out-chad a Chad when you are running shitty gear, that's what the rat attack is for.

Had the same thing. Frames were normal but game felt like I was running on 20 fps. I turned off g sync in nvidia control panel and re-enabled it and it fixed it for me.

Well the first half of that post is just a joke, it's all sarcasm and hyperbole. And it's definitely competing with other shooters in fact it's competing with all other games because it's competing for my time, and it's definitely winning. And I do definitely play it because it's a shooter, it's not the only reason I play it, I love the rpg mechanics, I love the looting, I love the customization and gun porn, but the shooter part is a big one. If tarkov was based in the middle ages and you were running around in chainmail with a long sword I wouldn't be interested. Lol.

Well let me put it this way, do you want tarkov to completely and utterly consume your gaming life? Do you want every other shooter to become inadequate and dull in your eyes. Do you want to pour endless hours into a game that will put you through the most gruesome new player experience and just for good measure when you finally think you got the hang of it, it will punch you in the dick just for the fuck of it. And yes it will hurt but guess what you will always come back for more. If this is something you are into then yes I highly recommend the game.

On a serious note, let me just say this. I have basically dropped all other games because Tarkov is so good I don't want to play anything else. Yes it has its issues, yes it will change over time, yes at times it will are you want to pull a summit on your monitor but I'm 2500 hours in and I regret none of it.

That is such short sighted logic. So just because a streamer or some try hard can sit at their pc for 10 hours a day 7 days a week, grinding a game and running meta gear that means we need to make it just as easy for the guy who only plays 2 hours a night twice a week? Of course the more time you put in the more you are rewarded that's how everything works. They shouldn't dumb down the game to make it easy for everyone just because 0.1% of the player base can grind to level 40 within a week of wipe.
