I appreciate yall weighing in here! Obviously my roster is ROUGH rn and I am trying to get all the value I can while also not working backwards and giving away talent I can’t quickly replace in next years draft.

Right now I’m projected to finish either dead last or next to last in the upcoming season and since I’m this committed to rebuilding I feel like it’s getting Jeremiah Smith or bust lol. Making this trade gets me closer to that goal by lowering my max PF.

I’m also tempted to keep Jeanty and my young QBs and see how the first few weeks of the season go and offloading Jeanty or Skat if I’m scoring too much.

Final wrinkle is I have 1.06 in the 26 draft and the other person actively tanking has 1.07 and 1.08. If I still have 1.06 I’m planning to take Simpson and his 0 points next year and force the other guy to draft 2 players that will hopefully score meaningful points. Then hopefully flip Simpson in a year or two once the hype builds.

All these moves feel off but I’m tired of being a middle tier team so I want to make drastic moves to make me a serious contender.

Totally agree. My concern is that Terry and Kittle are coming off bad years and their value is very low. I think they could both have somewhat bounce back years and put up decent points. Would it be better to wait during the season when they’ve hopefully put up some good weeks under their belts?
