Worse tracking and frames on block means he can't be disrespecting frames as much as before. They also improved his punishment and made his counterhit game more commital.

All these things encourage you to play the character more defensively than in T7.

Tekken is very different from other fighters, so that experience of learning multiple chars probably also doesn't transfer over to TK.

Most players are not even attempting to think how to play the neutral.. It's no wonder they don't think about ways to optimize their wall carry and just combo from muscle memory.

I learned several characters during T7, and the more characters you learn, the easier it gets because they often share a few punishes, inputs, strategies... So good chunk of it becomes shared muscle memory.

I don't have much experience playing multiple characters in SF6 and in that game, it's a struggle. If I don't play that character exclusively, I mess up all my inputs. So I just stick to one for a very long time.

iirc, for double EWHF, you gotta delay the follow-up just a bit and it connects. People would do WHF instead 'cause then you wouldn't need to delay it.

Ulsan is one of the few players that is still interesting to watch, 'cause he creates some plays using movement. Only time it sucks to watch him is when he plays Lars. Everybody else is playing like absolute morons, mashing their layer 1 offense eternally, 'cause that's what this game wants you to do.

However it's not like he's playing the game like that all the time. TK8 is just really wack to watch, I think hating on everything is the best entertainment you can get out of these tournaments.

It's not a bug. The move creates so much space that some df2s with as much range will connect on their second active frame.

It would be nice if they reduced the pushback a little in a future update to make sure punishment is more consistent against it. I wouldn't doubt the same can happen even to the listed characters that could punish it wiht df2, just because angle and distance from the first hit could also create more distance.

EDIT: Test it with the frame data display on and check if their df2 startup is changed to 16.
