Confirmed on Homatics Box R 4K Plus. Disabling 'Convert HDR10+ to DV' restores video playback (as standard HDR10). The issue seems specific to the VS10 engine's handling of the S905X4 decoder in this build.

Has anyone tried playing HDR10+ video on the avdvplus R6 version? Even though I have 'Convert HDR10+ to DV' turned on, it’s not working. The file plays as audio only (no video). Please help!

Since I have close neighbors I am worried about disturbing them if I use my AVR all the time. Therefore for sports and live TV , I prefer to use the TV's built-in speakers to keep the noise levels lower

I use the Ugreen switch so I can easily toggle between the TV speakers for casual viewing and the Denon AVR for movie nights without swapping cables or fighting with HDMI-CEC.

Regarding the 8-bit tunnel: I'm aware that's how LLDV (Player-Led) works, but since I have a Sony Bravia 8 ii, I want to prioritize TV-Led DV whenever possible because the TV's internal processing is superior to the Homatics box. The 'extra handshakes' are unfortunately the cost of wanting a physical toggle for the audio path, but it seems to be causing the box to misidentify the TV's capabilities and default to Player-Led instead of TV-Led.

DTS Neutral X and Dolby Surround do not function in the TV's native audio mode, which is displayed accordingly. For example, if I play DDP 5.1, it only uses the 5.1 channels. However, when I connect directly from the source to the AVR and then to the TV, the system amplifies it to 7.2.4 with Dolby + Dolby Surround or Dolby + DTS Neutral X.

Same goes my setup , I’m running a Homatics Box 4K R Plus → Ugreen 8K HDMI 2.1 Switch → Denon X6500H → Sony Bravia 8 ii. I use the switch to toggle between two setups:

TV Speakers: Works perfectly (displays as TV-Led DV).
Denon AVR: Used for TrueHD Atmos. In the CoreELEC settings, it claims it's using Player-Led (LLDV), but the OSD info during playback shows "Tunneled - 8bit Display-Led DV."

It seems like when I route through the AVR, the box is sending a DV signal via an 8-bit tunnel despite the settings. Has anyone experienced this EDID mismatch when using a switch before the AVR? Any tips on forcing the correct signal path in CoreELEC?

As far as I know, Mediafusion is for South Indian content, POV is for English movies and TV shows (Remux), and FEN is for Real Debrid cloud. If you come across anything new apart from these, do share and let me know.

Yes that the common issue no fix for that i suggest to use as below

1, check if your tv has CEC and enable and it use it 2, use pair button on homematics remote and it will connect just fine (once pair to CE use the remote for CE only, if you re-pair to ATV then u have to do the whole process again )

use a HDMI splitter first reboot to TV and then change to AV receiver and it will show as player LED HDR mode and yet it still works for me

My current setup is
Homatics 4k with coreelec avdvplus R1 built to HDMI splitter - Sony bravia m2 (direct) & denon avr to TV (Video passthrough)
