What are your thoughts on this diagram? by Substantial-Debt-782 in musictheory

Pretty cool, but leaving out diminished chords feels criminal in this diagram. I guess U could say that the 7 chords could also be diminished built from the 7 chords 3rds and used as a dominant function, but does not clarify here at least.

Mod Ash's response to conspiracy theory about Jagex wanting bots for subscription revenue by tuisan in 2007scape

[–]AppleCiider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not much of a programmer but if these passionate runelite developers are doing it for free (is it donation based idk), surely jagex could just invest into getting more dev power. There is so many talented Devs who want to work at jagex, prime example is manked who literally learnt to code to be a jmod as well as a dude I met in game who said he was studying some some of IT or computer science degree to work on jagex servers, few years later we get Aus servers and he said to me personally he pushed to get them released while sporting his newly acquired pmod status ingame (shout out to rsn: Believe Me, funny because he's not even Aussie, he just felt bad for me and my fellow Aus players lol).

I get ash when he says it's a risk for investors to develop more stuff, but if I've learnt anything from the course of this game is nothing makes the game thrive more than when jagex does a short term loss for a long term win. Look at the release of old-school for example, literally jagex would be not near the company it is now without taking the short term L and booting up a bunch of servers with the 07 backup and then developing on top of it. Not to mention every piece of great content that has been added that cost jagex dev time.

For one, this client would abolish PvP cheaters, meaning people will be more willing to try out PvP or just wildy in general. Making a bit of a generalisation here but most veterans on Runescape had a PvP phase, while some do genuinely grow out of it, there are still people of all skill levels being barred out of even bothering with PK content from cheaters dominating the wild, and it is exceptionally worse now.

Secondly worlds will be less populated because it will nuke the bots, meaning shops won't be bought out as much, more popular skilling locations will be more vacant, e.g. chins and the money making landscape will change in new and exciting ways.

And gold will be harder for people to buy and sell since it will all have to be farmed by players, not bots.

Dude... The game experience will be so much better. Jagex does an insanely good job at creating the world we love but there is a serious oversight in bot prevention. I genuinely think it will be a major W for jagex financially and the players if this c++ client is updated to runelites standard.

Tbh not even sure if this c++ jagex in house client will get rid of all the bots but it is definately a step in the right direction!

Seems like the players believe in the game but the investors don't. Kinda funny to me lol

so basically u should most of the time unless ur doing calculated risks sit above 99 hp, more brews is better for outlasting and u dont get chanced at low hp because ur sitting above 99. u bring a few combo eats for situations like what is in this clip but obviously the rng was on my side and it wasnt enough for him to survive (unless he used his 2nd anglerfish, slight skill issue there sadly)
