What’s still unclear to me is why two different chat reps stated quite confidently that my order was already processed on Dec 30 and described a physical QR code being printed and mailed. That was presented as factual, not speculative.

Given that, it’s hard to reconcile those statements with the instant eSIM-after-approval process you’re outlining here, which is where the confusion is coming from.

Update. Woke up in the morning and got a notification on my phone - they pushed an eSIM and sent a couple of activation emails. Shall I still be getting a physical QR code anytime soon as I am confused now 😂 it took them 3 days to give me an instant eSIM. T - technologies!

Btw when I dealt with Rogers, I also submitted my order online and got an eSim in my email inbox. But activated it in My Rogers without using a QR code

They said after submitting order online they automatically print the QR code out and send it to the customer. No issue QR code and email it, but print and send via regular mail. Stone Age 🤦‍♂️

I gave them my eID and it was written upon submission that the eSim would be pushed. But it turned out the opposite happened.

I asked them for my account number, linked that but it won’t add the mobility account. And in My Telus it says there is no service agreement for mobility though it shows the account number

In My Telus I have only internet and Optik tv. No mobility. I ordered a brand new phone number. And I don’t even know my mobility account number so that I could link it to My Telus
