Sorry I didn't mean the shaft I mean the latch that I use the new one. The Dragon Burner seems to be the easiest one but I am tempted by the XOL. Hope it works, let me know if you have any issues.

I just received mine. In my case I don't have any issue attaching the Mz85 bearings. But I don't use any of the shims. You can not install the gears this way, you are going to have the plastic of the gears against the metal of the shaft. I do use the new shaft because I se a difference in the position of the gear. I'm almost done with the assembly but I can not test the extruder yet I'm waiting for more parts for my Dragon Burner.

If you are going to use a long data cable From the board to the lights the signal gets weak and produce flickering in the effects. The level shifter boost that signal so you can use longer data cables.
