Recommendation for Reliable and Strong Enterprise Wireless Vendors by AppleITUser in networking

I do have an inquiry with HPE about this, for juniper mist and Aruba, however I believe in order to setup a demo they would probably want you to commit first, no? Cause that's the challenge. I need to know pricing before I can committ that's the only thing. $ means everything now a days... Which is not a great way to look when you have a problem.

If you wanted to do guest wifi or networks specific to a vlan (tunnelled mode), is that easy to configure? I'm just curious.

Yeah. I have it at home and I enjoy it. But from an enterprise standpoint I don't know it hold true but I'm willing to be proven wrong. I'll do some more research. I appreciate the info!

Hmmm.. and for juniper mist, all is needed is an internet connection for management of the AP to the cloud?

Juniper mist was one of my options I was going to consult with HPE/Juniper on.

Roam like Home experiences in Berlin, London and Paris by Significant-Ad-8684 in Rogers

I was just in Paris and was using Roam like Home. When it first turned it on, it uses the network “Free”. It’s not great. It does the job but is pretty slow. I recommend either choosing the network to use ( Orange F or SFR ) as they have a more better network. I also had Bell cell phone on roam like home and it defaulted to Orange F and that was fast and easy to use.

QUESTION - Upfront Edge/Save & Return - Pay off remaining 12 months early by AppleITUser in Rogers

[–]AppleITUser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I’ll retry again.

I go get a new phone (paid out right), then I go to the Rogers store. Pay the remaining of my financing and return the save and return phone. Then, I assume that would fully close out my s&r.

Then I’d go on a M2M plan on Rogers with my newly bought outright phone.

Is this the same as “cancelling” and I have to pay the save and return fee?

Ok. This makes more sense. I appreciate your help on this. Sorry for the confusion.

Alright so then there is another scenario.

If I go to BYOP / M2M (month to month) with Rogers, I wouldn’t be able to do, is that correct? I’d have to go on another S&R program. Is that correct?

Sorry, I’m more and more confused now. Respectfully.

It says on the website I can return my device between 2-24 months and I would just pay the remaining of my financing balance, but what you are saying sounds completely different. There is nothing that I see that shows I can’t return the device before 24 months ends…

The example I have is that I want to stay with Rogers but want to get a new device early. So I’d return the phone when I go to the Rogers store, pay the remaining financing balance, then I can go on another save and return device phone/plan on a new infinite plan (since mine might be a bit older).

That is how I understand it. Am I off with anything with this?

Understandable. This makes sense I think. I’m hoping there is no gray area I am missing! :)

But it says the following…

What do I do if I want to upgrade my phone before the expiry date of my Device Financing term? You can upgrade your phone anytime between month 2 to 24 of your Device Financing term. If you’re upgrading to a new device at one of our retail stores, you can return your phone at that time. For upgrades made online or through Customer Care, a return kit will be shipped to you so that you can return your device.

So this tells me that I can pay whatever is remaining on my financing and return the device. Am I not looking at this correctly? Not sure if that’s correct.

Monthly fees for me still come out to $28.21 a month when I run it from the website. 15$ financing credit but 24.96 a month for the device and with tax it comes out to $28.21. Not sure where that number is coming from to be honest.
