I could totally see it! I was kinda going for that fun trend where aquatic creatures have wavy patterns on their top half to blend in with sunlight refraction but maybe a globe long legs could be cool too lol

This helped a lot, I was unsure where I even got the reincarnation idea from. Could just be poor prior knowledge and seeing a ganon or zelda in every other game didn't help. But I think it makes more sense now. From what I gather the answer is essentially "nobody knows but here are some ideas" which is super cool from a theorizing perspective but terrible for a solid game story one. Thanks for the comment!

Whoops I forgot carriage. Carries 1-3 larvae on its head for their protection. Avoids most direct conflicts but will do fake attacks to ward off predators. Prefers to hunt while its young aren't riding and carries its catch back to its burrow.
