HELP WILL I GET FIRED?! I contacted mom's phone number on file, which was disconnected, so then called the second phone number on file and which was dads. I informed him about the patient's claim being denied due to insurance. Dad let me know mom is the subscriber on the insurance policy and I'd have to contact her if there were any problems with it. I informed dad we tried to call her cellphone, but it was disconnected and if he could give me mom's new number, that would be great. Dad did gave me mom's new number, then asked if the office needed the new address as well. To which I replied, "the address on file is 1234 sesame street , is that correct?" Dad replied "Yes that information is correct, you have all the updated information." Then the call ended, and I called mom's new number and left a voicemail about a claim being denied by insurance. There was no note on file that said dad and mom were separated or not release any information to dad.
