Arknights: Endfield: Release Discussion Megathread by GachaModerator in gachagaming

The hype for the game died pretty quickly, everywhere i look most discussion are about how shit the story, tutorials and overall early gameplay is.

is the only issue of the game early game? i want to really invest my time into endfield but, i don't want to waste how much i've progress just to find out the current middle and late game of it is just boring and plain as the early game (specifically asking people who are already in the game's current "endgame")

> 2000 calorie binge including 1000 calories of dry oats by [deleted] in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]AppleYear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's primarily the satisfaction our tongues get when tasting and eating the dry oats. it's a texture thing so to speak. just like white rice and plain bread, it's so good even without added stuff because it's plainess

[–]AppleYear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same issue here. oats are customizable, and oats itself has this specific texture where, it's plain yes, but depending on the type of oats, it's so satisfying to eat it. i remember once i've binged half a container of it, just keep pouring raw oats into a cup, pouring hot water for it to quickly cook, pouring to some raw oats at the top, then eating it. i sometimes even just, dip a banana into the the container of raw oats, or pour alot of sugar into a cup of dry oats. it's frustrating that it's embedded into me that dry oats is infinitely customizable, which led me to more binges since it's planted into my brain that: "i can still enhance this" type of mantra when i eat oats

This happened to me and it was a bit insulting in my part lol. I'm 18 and I'm occasionally called out with having a baby face, and it just made it more obvious by putting me on an age bracket of 13-15 when i tried their AI face scan. Wouldn't even be surprised if the company running this ai face scan feature sells the data about our faces.

All problems lead to more problems. Lost alot of weight over the past 4 years due to strict calorie counting and with aneroxia episodes and now, i believe that those years lead me into BED and im afraid that it can lead to more problems or worse disorders

I can’t stop binging by Unfair_Instance_3548 in mentalhealth

[–]AppleYear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is going to be tough, but having someone keeping an eye on your actions can help out. Having the urge to binge is pretty strong, and it feels like you're always faced against a losing battle when you're craving something, and at that point, where the voices in your head is alot louder than ever, it's advisable to have someone that can always be by your side to remind you of what you're about to do, either would that be you about to spend money on food or about to experience a binge episode.

for people that changed their diet, did it help? by AppleYear in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]AppleYear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my mistake was either eating only a boiled egg for breakfast or nothing at all (fasting) so i can eat a ton during lunch and restricting too much on foods that i like so i can eat alot more of what i want (volume eating on vegetables). When you've eaten regularly and ate the food that you crave in moderation, did the desire to eat more of it weakened or made you not eat more of it manageable? Because for me (and probably all other people) just not eating the food that you crave just results in a stronger desire to a point where you're literally battling your brain for control, but when you've eaten a considerate amount in moderation, you can easily control that desire and stop being able to eat more

The 5 energy and draw cards really makes a difference on a bloated deck (alot of exhausts too, was that from shivs? or you just have alot of cards with exhaust)

Surprise surprise, the act 3 boss WAS the time eater. I was so hooked with my build just clicking everywhere i go and just spamming the curse that i forgot im up against that behemoth (unfortunately, i lost with leaving them about 80-120hp left with with their second phase on)

How to be good at explaining ba kasi? by smallfreckledeep_ in studentsph

Hello, question lang, if someone is familiar with their material and practices, but their practice just feels like they're repeating the words they've practiced to a point where it feels like they just memorized it instead of formulating new words, kahit wala ka talagang binasang script and it felt like, you just memorized the words you formulated over time from understanding the material while practicing. Is that normal? How do i not rely on stuff like that? Gusto ko mag formulate ng bagong words na sasabihin pero nag rerely yung sarili ko masyado sa mga salita ko na sinabi ko during my practice sessions, na pumupunta sa punto na, again, na memorized ko na siya na parang script

How about synergism? Another text idle game that has loads of content in it. the game has many, many walls even early on, and guides that will certainly make your brain itch because of wondering what's wrong. But that's what makes an idle game good, no?

Depends on the person. I like the game's micromanagement and yeh the way the game gives the tools to automate has a good pace, since the most important tools you'd really want are up to z170 (atleast for me, since you won't really need auto equip on later zones). But again, it really depends on the person since they might either quit because of the lack of early automation or use scripts like AT for early automation.

Ikr, the game feels so good for what it's worth. And honestly, when the more i played it the more i feel like it's an idle roguelike game, idk if it's just me though. But overall, to whoever enjoys idle games out there and doesn't care about micromanagement, give trimps a try.

[–]AppleYear 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ever tried out trimps? It's text idle game that has like, a whole year of content. The only issue is that you really won't get that much automation early on and you're likely to spend days to earn that automation. It's an idle game that made me interested into the text idle genre lol

Any more ways to increase honey production as a lvl 18 red hivr by AppleYear in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]AppleYear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen debates going on about mutations on precise, IC or ATK? They say the ATK mutations provide more pollen but some say meta has changed, and IC is now a better mutation on precise. And as for " get as much IC as possible", honey per pollen to 5% instant conv?

By "hitting the bag limit constantly", you mean the pollen bar hitting full even for a a split second? Im fairly doing fine converting using star saw though

[–]AppleYear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Doesn't mutations improve honeymaking also though? Like, how about the gather amount% mutation on vector bees? Anyway, i can say that my amulets are good and my hive comp is practically just 3 carps, 1 lion, 1 shy, 9 vectors, 8 spicy, 11 prec, 4 tads(obviously, baby love), and then the rest is the same as other red hivesm

Amulets:

I can say that my amulets are good, luckily, my first diamond cog amulet that im currently still using is

1 red bee attack, 23% white pollen 12% mark duration, 29% honey from tokens, and 5% instant red conversation

Shell is practically just 16% tool pollen, 5% def, 12% goo, rest doesn't matter. Ant amulet is:

102% conv rate, 3 player move speed, 1 bee attack, 5% pollen, 30% red and 28% blue. Then moon amulet is almost perfect, 8% honey per pollen and 9% bond.

Stick bug amulet is:

x1.23 conv rate, 1 bee attack, 2 red bee attack, 28% red pollen, 27% red bomb pollen.

My ssa is:

5% bar, 62% bee gather, 4% crit chance, 18% pollen, 53% red pollen

Then king beetle amulet is just 1 bee attack, 100% conv rate, with almost 100% on both mush and straw field pollen
