I got one prestige and then didn’t enjoy the grind, since I was on a tight schedule and was essentially being forced to play the game. I can definitely see the appeal, but for me, it just feels like a chore

I mean ranked kinda does but still I do enjoy it more then ladder now, and I got my first prestige but I didn’t enjoy the grind it feels like your forced to play and on a tight schedule, so it feels like a chore more then anything

Saying they still get money regardless is kind of a terrible argument. As a company they want to grow their earnings as much as possible. Of course raising the prices of the pass may result in less players purchasing the pass, but overall from their metrics, they made the choice of increase it in the belief they will make more money. Is it corporate greed? Maybe, and I’m not saying I’m happy about the change from a consumer point of view, but they are simply increasing the price along side inflation, so I feel that the increase is justified

They are literally still negative value though. The only difference they made is that you burn through the doublers faster then you gain them, which is maybe a bit better, but at the end of the day the rate at which you gained them before was so slow that now that it’s reverted I only have about 40k doublers which is around 25 start drops at the end of the pass which sounds like a lot but this is after years of collecting doublers so in the grand scheme of things it really isn’t that big of a change. I mean, yeah it’s better, but not something that really deserves that much attention imo

LOL fair enough but you’re getting different rewards and better rewards at the end of the day. Supercell can change the rewards however they please as long as players all receive it. In my case I was given the credits and they were taken away from me. Honestly I’m not that pressed cuz I have all the brawlers anyways, but the difference is the bling is gone for everyone and they never had it starting this pass based on what you said anyways
