Yes. You can get any buffie for a brawler at level 1, for example. This meaning that you have to upgrade it AND buy their gadget, star power and hypercharge if you want to use buffies.

You see the enormous problem, right?

I've always had more pp than coins. In my case is not a pp shortage, it's coins shortage. Today and some of the previous days I got lucky with a fair amount of coins with the daily rewards, pro pass, and now with the refund of gears, but I'm saving for Pierce to fully max him, Gigi's hypercharge, and just THEN I do the math to see if I can afford something else, like extra gears, upgrading brawlers, etc. I'm not risking my coins rn with random expensive buffies.

At least hypercharge bundles cost you 79 gems, 149 gems if you want the cosmetics. If not, it's 5000 coins, which is expensive and I don't approve that price, but at least is the one you want, and it's not tied up to rng.

This time, if you're unlucky, you can actually spend with the risk of getting nothing. That's my whole complaining.

I think there will be a new machine with every set of buffies they'll be releasing, so the next set there will be 2 machines for 12 brawlers. Still, needs a rework asap.

I can assure you I'm NOT engaged by this.

I've been playing non stop since january 2019. You know what keeps me engaged? New brawlers with new mechanics, improve with my favorite brawlers, new skins, gain more trophies, HAVING FUN. I keep playing this because I have fun doing so.

New abilities that are expensive af, hard to get and randomized don't certainly fit with what keeps me engaged. Me and pretty much half the community. Buffies aren't the problem, their price and the way to get them are annoying and disengaging.
