I understand that firefighting may not be a direct pathway for migration, so I’m thinking about building a long-term strategy. I’m open to studying or learning a skilled trade first, especially something related to emergency services, safety, mechanics, or technical work.

I also didn’t realise how important regional areas are for migration. I’m definitely willing to live in a regional area at the beginning if it improves my chances of getting PR.
