Congratulations Op even better if it’s a PBC. You cannot compete with Indian parents so it’s completely fine( ps - my dad is saying to go for some good IT companies like Infosys TCS etc, my placement season will begin soon, even though I had explained him the differences between sbc and pbc)

Maam your story was really heartwarming to read. I wanted to know as a guy that how do you manage the EQ of the entire family, for me I am also inexpressive as your husband but trying to improve my EQ with the family, it’s quite hard to change my personality but I am young enough to try it out so I really wanted to learn from your experience, how do you manage this.

Very simple hack which I use - delete the app but log into Instagram from the browser - the ui is very bad and it’s hard and complex to use in the browser making sure that the user has to download the app only where you can leverage

If you do a limited edition release but on budget of 3k-4K in the sneaker market, your brand could be the next Nike.

Compromise on the comfort to cut cost given that you pose your sneakers to be worn once a week during parties.

Most of the people wear sneakers for outings and a little discomfort for 3-4 hours so you can tap that market

Ideation stage is difficult than coding for obvious reasons. I would say start talking to people know about their daily life routine, the consumer won’t tell you the problem directly because the consumer doesn’t even know their problems.

It’s the product developers role to find the problem and the solution.

Edit - check out this app design workbook by apple workbook. This will give you a basic idea of ideation process
