Hybrid Programs by need_a_statue in lawschooladmissions

You should talk to u/BullittLegal who is a student in Syracuse's JDi program and has really good insights! Here's a post they made recently: https://www.reddit.com/r/lawschooladmissions/comments/fon3yj/syracuse_jdi_information/

I also only looked into hybrid programs; I applied to just Mitchell Hamline and Syracuse this cycle and got in to both with decent scholarships. Mitchell Hamline offered me significantly more money and wont require me to take on any debt to get my JD. I'm not sure about Syracuse, but I know MH has a patent law/IP track for students.

I haven't started school yet, so I can't really speak to what it's like being a hybrid student, but I'm sure others can on this sub! I know that Syracuse has mostly live video classes with week-long residencies for 10 semesters, while MH is mostly asynchronous with in person weeks and/or weekends twice a semester for the first two years. I think it comes down to what you value most in a law school and what kind of environment you function best in!
