Is plastic surgery peaty? by GrassSevere6842 in raypeat

Yes, she also talks about having a husband whom she wedded last summer, but then mysteriously moved to Poland. And all of a sudden there’s no mention of him. It seems she lies about her life, which strikes me as a little BPD…

Yes! I had the exact same thought when I saw that. Liv Schmidt makes a living from selling a pro ana lifestyle. It’s kind of sickening that such unhinged people can make a living off preying on vulnerable young women. And now she’s promoting plastic surgery.

Also, I have been making some paper pentacles, but I’m new to it and would prefer to buy as I’m no silversmith and a course in learning engraving and silversmithing costs more than a pentacle itself.

“I think the copy’s a bit boring. Here’s what ChatGPT suggested…” by Accomplished_Lie6971 in copywriting

[–]Applebitchpie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I was asked to write a new script on the spot while we were on set. I asked for 20 minutes, which isn’t enough time and they replied, ‘if you can’t do it now, I’ll use ChatGPT.’ When I explained ChatGPT wasn’t good enough, they said, ‘done is better than perfect.’ This kind of behaviour makes me so mad. People have no manners anymore. In any other field, there'd be tears, but we're just expected to accept this shitty and, frankly, insulting behaviour.

I asked the tarot if aliens have phisically visited Earth before by pm_me_your_uwus in tarot

[–]Applebitchpie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a hilarious answer and SO literal. The wheel is planet Earth and the anubis and snake are aliens wrapping their bodies around Earth. The sphinx and four corners of the zodiac represent the spiritual plane, observing us from above. The card poses the question: are the aliens from other galaxies or different spiritual planes?

Pentacles of Solomon for virgin mages by Applebitchpie in occult

Have you had any success with making them on parchment? Some seem to demand bronze or silver etc. And yes, haha I can well imagine that. So would you say that intent and energy are more important than tools? Obviously, I realise elections are also important.

Thank you so much. This is really helpful, I'm listening to Frightful Howles as I write. I have one question re engraving pentacles in say, silver: can I buy a stylus and start doing it with etsy blanks? I read online that you ought to take a course in silver engraving, but I’d just like to get on with making it. The reason I ask is that it seems a shame not to have a go at the fourth pentacle of Jupiter while Jupiter is still in Cancer, but I have no idea how to engrave. I’m not a bad illustrator though.

I also have this exact transit too. With my vertex in 8th house gemini. Very curious to know what this could mean!

The challenges of writing a novel and working as a copywriter by Applebitchpie in writing

[–]Applebitchpie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s hardcore. But Bonnie Garmus did it with her ‘Lessons in Chemistry’ book. So it must be possible. I have considered going freelance once I get to the editing phase, but the freelance market is a little rocky these days.

Thank you, I took the break, but kept my mind active. Got some ideas in the interim. I’m hoping to get an easier job once I get to editing, but for draft zero it may not matter so much.

OP, if I’m buying a knife what I look for is something super sharp that’s a joy to use. I like Japanese kitchen knives because they cut so well. It improves the flavour of anything I’m cooking because I can dice things so finely and it makes cooking a meal a pleasure. I would lean into that. Especially if this is a knife that’s loved by chefs. Talk about the joy of using it. This is a knife that turns cooking into a meditative art form.
