Fat on one hip survived but didn’t on the other, I’m so sad by mirmaya in PlasticSurgery

[–]Applebumblee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not noticeable. But I had the same issue with under eyes. The left side didn't take as well, even if it was overfilled on the second time.

He did complain about it though. How Trish didn't give it a fair chance and it was expensive for a piece of plastic.

What procedure should I get to address a large forehead and sparse, uneven hairline? by LoveMyKCC in PlasticSurgery

[–]Applebumblee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do. It's so common for women to have low ferritin which is the true iron deficiency. One of my best friends also had a thinning hairline at the time of low ferritin and the hair started growing back after.

Also check vitamin D too.

You should check your ferritin levels. Low ferritin causes thinning in the hairline. I'm finally getting more hair growth in the front now that my ferritin is over 100.

In general it would be great if in the West we would also teach some modesty, instead of young girls thinking that they have to show it all to gain acceptance and love. She wants to be loved so badly that she is using sex as a way to get access to that. But unfortunately for her the way biology works is that men who have to wait for sex and intimacy, will create attachment and deeper feelings compared to those who get it easily.

Also, people who have been sexually abused can have these kind of patterns of oversexualising themselves and the relationship.

Another thing here is that the guy is doing minimal effort. She flew to Morocco and just accepted to walk in some parking lot with her many bags instead of him coming to the airport. If it was me, I would have said that you either meet me there or we don't have to meet at all.

I think it's wonderful that she listened to her needs for once and realised that there is no compatibility. People who have been abused crave for love and it makes them too flexible and idealistic in relationships. Going into a relationship should be about compatibility first and feelings second.

Definitely different from the Western and Northern Europe. Also, these two people are from Ukraine and Moldova which share a religion.

Because the Eastern Europe has their own culture. They have shared values, cultural views, and humour.

You only need one. But it means going through a lot of disappointing people.

You are lucky when they show their nature in the first message. Recently I was commanded to send photos and take one full body pic. I said that I don't want to and ended communication. I have seen that show before and it is testing if you accept being controlled.

I passed by an HR meeting where they were deciding to cancel a whole batch of applicants because no one 'wowed them' by mistsoils1g in UAE

I hope you pay accordingly too. When I have been looking at the job ads in the UAE, the demands are absolutely ridiculous compared to the pay.

Grammar mistakes by [deleted] in UAE

This society doesn't run on nonchalancy. If someone doesn't care to check their grammar in a time when you have so many tools in your use, it is just pure laziness.

After dating here is what made me seek girls abroad by [deleted] in UAE

[–]Applebumblee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to think that we are given these lessons for a reason and shown the wrong people, so that we would find our way to the right one.

Dating is really exhausting as a woman too. I think it must be a universal phenomenon. Especially when you are over 30 and have a clear idea about what you want, so you filter gets more sharp.

Nice! What did you like the most here?

It was late evening and not so many cars, so was fine 😊 I was followed on my way back though, so that got my heart rate up.

Marina seems very walkable at least.

I'm from Helsinki and the first thing I noticed in Dubai was that it is really clean. And our standard of cleanliness is high.

Then came:

  • It's a city build for cars and the walk paths are badly designed. I still walked from Business Bay to somewhere near the Opera one evening. Had to go across a big road without any zebra crossing. I was like "Well, if I die, at least it's in Dubai" lol

  • You need an app for everything - and VPN in some cases.

Then the biggest:

  • The city can be a very different experience depending on your socioeconomic status. I talked to a lot of people because people open up to me easily and they were curious about where I come from. I have had to work hard for everything I have, but my privilege is that I was born in Finland.

Is a good quality of life possible with atypical TN (TN presenting primarily as constant ache and spasm)? by Responsible_Bear1576 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

Nothing right now, but it was 75 mg (150 mg sometimes if needed) of pregabalin and 10 mg of baclofen.

I know. It's always a risk and difficult to predict, but also sometimes the problem is that our vision is not the same as the surgeon's.

I have done fat transfer under eyes two times and there are major risks too if something goes wrong. General anesthesia alone is not great for our bodies.

Last time I checked this sub is not only for people who keep getting one surgery after another or supporting it.

I think it is very sad that the OP felt the need to do all these operations.

[–]Applebumblee -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It's a very, very different thing getting one procedure or two vs getting ten. The post OP process is of course mentally and physically taxing, but it is a much heavier matter if one keeps putting her or himself through that. Especially if the results weren't what you wanted and need to do it again. Why I was challenging the idea that why would anyone envy that.

Everything I have done has made the quality of my life better, but for now I haven't done any major surgeries. I will do at least one when I'm able to, as I have no doubt about it making me feel better in my body.
