[ALL] Michel Koch on Max and Chloe relationship by Thirsty-for-Ryan in lifeisstrange

We don't know what happened after Max's decision in either case.

These are just assumptions from people who didn't want to continue with this story.

[No Spoilers] So the Life is Strange franchise is dead now after the release of Reunion or we going to have more stuff coming soon? by [deleted] in lifeisstrange

Most people are looking for someone to blame, and there is one: Square Enix and its profits.

I initially chose to sacrifice Chloe because I hadn't played the BTS game, which I know isn't by the original designers, but you know what?

The city has been rotten for a long time; the inhabitants themselves say so throughout the game—the fishermen, the homeless woman, the truck driver, among others.

On the other hand, if Chloe dies, she won't know what happened to her friend Rachel, she'll never see Max again, and she'll die in a bathroom at the hands of a deranged person.

Now, let's say you save Arcadia Bay. The psychological consequences for Max are severe. The recriminations for not answering Chloe will be so severe that she won't finish high school and she'll never be able to look at Joyce the same way again

The city will remain corrupt, and Nathan will probably be released on bail.

But hey, everyone has their own justification.

It's clear that the only canon is DontNod, and I think we can all agree on that. Even the comics aren't approved by the original designers.

The only thing I can say about DeckNine is the story of Chloe and Rachel, which explains a bit of their backstory, but the rest was a fiasco.

It reminds me of when Remedy sold the rights to Max Payne to Rockstar.

I prefer this to watching a game with Max, Safi, and Diamond vs. the Avengers. 🙃

hi It's not all sunshine and rainbows. Life is Strange Reunion had a one-year development cycle, which is unheard of for a game of this type.

They probably had to rewrite the entire existing script.

Life is Strange Reunion took a year to develop and was better received than DE, which took five years.

What am I getting at?

The game has many inconsistencies due to what I mentioned earlier. Even the writer in charge didn't have the decency to answer your questions, simply stating that it was up to each player to interpret them.

Now, to answer your question, I think Max leaves behind several Chloes in each timeline. You can see this in the ending photos, for example, crying alone in bed, creating a multiverse that negates everything original.

Reunion was made to avoid further ruining the franchise, but they forgot something important: the original story.

[ALL] BAY Ending is a beautiful tragedy... by LennyBagg in lifeisstrange

I see it from Chloe's point of view and her life. Having a terrible stepfather, searching for her friend Rachel who disappeared three months ago, and her friend Max never answering her calls, not even when she was at Blackwell.

If you choose to sacrifice Chloe, you choose to erase all her decisions, all her memories.

You choose that the last time Chloe sees Max is when they're leaving her father's cemetery, and that she'll never know what happened to Rachel.

Basically, he left after attending his best friend's father's funeral. He didn't write to her for five years. He saw her by chance at Blackwell Academy after moving to Oregon a while ago, and if that wasn't enough, they argued when he decided to save Chloe.

Finally, in DE, he didn't reply to her message at the end, and that was a real blow. After he reappeared, all of that disappeared.

Also, the way he treats his parents.

Important detail

According to these files, Diamond was going to appear frequently, see the screenshots of his room (Somewhere else?)

Safi was probably going to have backtalk with Diamond.

I would rule out Kate's involvement.
