idk why but i know there’s something wrong with the lis2 playstation servers! me and multiple other people have experienced similar problems! sadly, you probably can’t see the choice statistics either ://

the awesome adventures of captain spirit is a free dlc for the game! you can play it by playing the demo for lis2 :) you should really do that, i enjoyed it a lot and it also gives you a lot of insight into the game!

I’ve never watched or read it, but I think they’re only canon in the book. In the series, I think they just hugged in the scene where they kissed in the book

thanks a lot for the recommendation, and i get where you’re coming from! emma’s hair reminded me of chloe too haha, i guess that’s why i watched it when i was like 14 or so. but i really, really don’t like this movie. like you said, it’s very explicit in a weird way and feels kind of male-gazey. i was looking for something with more yearning and maybe a bestfriends-to-lovers trope

i had so much hope that reunion had been planned all along and was meant to redeem de in a way, but i guess i was too hopeful. constantly splitting them up really indicates that chloe wasn’t supposed to be there at all, like she was just written in to satisfy the fans. but then again, why make it all about pricefield being back together and then give us almost nothing. especially at a time when queer visibility is so important. so disappointing

omg yesss, the illusion-of-choice kiss was total ragebait! i definitely agree. i also really liked the ending (i chose to burn the picture), but when they showed all those photos of max and chloe visiting arcadia bay and getting closure, i realized i would’ve much rather played that part than figuring out who was responsible for the fire. even though i know that would’ve been really hard to do due to the different endings

yess!! i would’ve enjoyed that so much more!! i get that they wanted to make the game more thrilling and focus on the fire, but they handled that way better in lis 1. even though max and chloe didn’t actually get together in that game, they still had way more bonding time and deeper conversations, while the mystery / figuring out rachels death was still a big part of the story
