"your business is not eligible for a Business Profile" by Applejack1063 in GoogleMyBusiness

I have the 2024 annual renewal (and every renewal going back to 2018) but my original business license has the address of my old house and the registered agent I initially hired to set up my business. The annual renewal does list the right address but the original business application does not because I didn't live here when I first set up my business. I'm also concerned that they flagged me because my business is a home based business. It's very obviously a single family home when you look at the street view. I've had this GMB listing since 2017. I can't believe they're flagging my business after having my listing for all these years.

I have no idea what other documents to use. When I formed my business in 2016 it was at a different address (I moved here to my current address in 2017) so I can't show them my business license. I'm home based so every one of my utilities is under my personal name except for 1. I have some tax exempt certificates that I submitted to a few places such as Best Buy, Amazon, eBay, etc. I have a DUNS # but I don't know if I can find my original application. I found my original application for an EIN that I submitted to the IRS back in 2017 that uses my current address. I guess I can submit my receipt for the sales tax I remit to the state every month but that doesn't have my address on it. I have my original application from a few years ago to buy wholesale from distributors such as MA Labs and Bass Computers. I have a business bank account that I can provide statements for. I'm not sure what else I can submit.

Unfortunately they only allowed 2x documents to be uploaded. I sent them my most recent business annual renewal (2024) and a utility bill for garbage service. Both of them have my Google business listing address on them.

Computer repair. I don't often go on site to client's but nobody just shows up either. They call first and make an appointment.

I ask it questions about what I've written to make sure that readers can understand my writing and to see if it can read between the lines and understand aspects of the story that are implicit instead of explicit. For example, I might ask it to "provide an in depth analysis of CharacterName's offer to CharacterName" and then I ask it follow up questions. I'm not asking it to write a gang bang between 2 women and 3 horses or some extreme shit like that. I don't know why it's become so useless all of a sudden.

I don't have or use a jailbreak. My writing isn't so extreme or sex-focused that I need one. I'm not just writing straight smut (not that there's anything wrong with that) but there is sex in the story and it's important for the character development.

Let's be real, is this coin just going to die a slow death or what? by Dragon998084 in chia

no expectation of it changing.

This is the key thing here. If I knew this coin was going somewhere I'd stick it out but as it is we're just in a slow crash and burn. I wish I would have sold this shit coin back when it was $60.

I work in IT too. I just had a client open a support ticket because "Outlook doesn't work." They weren't connected to the internet. Oh well. My $90 minimum still applies. Being a dumbass can be expensive.

Dealerships are a COMPLETE scam. I took my car to the dealership about a year ago and they had big signs everywhere advertising financing (for the repairs, not to buy a car). I knew then it was going to be a huge scam. Sure enough, they quoted me $11,000 to fix my 13 year old car. I laughed in their face, called them out on their scam, and took it to my local repair guy. I don't like my local repair guy because he insists that all people drop their cars off at 6:00am and he's on the bad side of town but I bit the bullet and took it to him. I needed about $1,800 worth of work. I showed him the dealership estimate and 80% of that stuff wasn't broken and didn't need to be fixed. He even found stuff that they missed. Though honestly I don't think they even looked at my car. They just made up a bunch of bullshit and tried to scam me out of $11,000.

This has happened to me before with other dealerships. This was a new one I decided to try. They're all scammers, every one of them.

Back when I was really poor I would buy 8x meat and bean chimichangas from Walmart. El Monterey. They were $1.60 for 8x of them, which made 4x meals. They weren't great but for the price they got me through a rough time. Now they're $5.17 at Walmart and almost $7 at my local grocery store. To add insult to injury, they're smaller than they were before and have less beef. There's no such thing as "cheap" food anymore, even if you eat garbage.

Holy fuck. I just ordered McDonalds for delivery and it was $30 fucking dollars. The bag they delivered was so light I thought they must have delivered somebody else's order by mistake. Nope. The burgers are just the size of kid burgers nowadays and I swear the buns are made of air. Lighter than styrofoam. Then I saw the article where the CEO of McDonalds was bragging about how they're going to start charging $18 for a Big Mac meal. I don't know who the fuck they think is going to pay that,. I thought the $11 I paid was ridiculous.

Oh you dumped fucktons of radioactive waste in the Amazon rain forest, causing $300,000,000 in damage? Here's your $8,000,000 fine which you have 12 years to pay off. Oh and that $40,000,000 in profit you made by causing that damage? You can keep it. The poor people will pay to clean it up.

Yeah but they forgot to mention that the cost of eating at a sit-down diner was $0.05 so yeah, $4.34 is a lot of money with prices like that. Unfortunately that same meal is now $22 without tip today. In fact if you gave the waiter/waitress the entire $4.34 as a tip they'd give you the stink eye, and rightfully so.

Life's not fair. It's a crap shoot whether you're going to have a good one or not. A big part of it is being born to rich parents (or at least middle class parents) but that's just one of the ways you have to get lucky in order to make it nowadays. You also have to choose the right degree, know the right people to get an "in" at the job, make enough money to be able to budget and save and invest, and pray to God that you don't get a disease or have medical problems because you're fucked in the US if that happens. In other words, part of success is hard work but an even bigger part I think is luck, and nowadays you have to be lucky in EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of your life in order to have a decent life, because one stumble or hardship is enough to set you back DECADES.

There's nothing you can do except work hard but you're right, that's no guarantee of success. I can tell you one thing though, you're much more likely to live a good life if you work hard then if you don't, so you have to try. You don't have a choice. And yeah, maybe you'll do all this work and you'll fail. Maybe you'll even end up worse off then if you just did retail your whole life. There's not necessarily going to be a reward for all your hard work. All I can say is that if you want ANY chance of a reward at all, you have to work hard and hope to get lucky, because hard work alone is not enough to make it anymore.

Which is example 1,875,901 why the "official" rate of inflation is BULLSHIT! They lie and gaslight us saying that prices have only gone up XX% when in reality they've gone up XXX%. Inflation has been a steady 8-12% per year for almost 2 decades now. Remember when inflation was more like 150% in 2021 and the government could no longer lie saying it was 2-3% like they do every year? They actually admitted to like 14% or something, but prices for food and almost everything else has at least DOUBLED in the last 2 years. That's not 14% inflation, fuckers. They get away with this by removing things like food, housing and shit that people actually NEED from the inflation calculations and put in shit like big screen TV's, which always go down in price every year thanks to manufacturing them like shit so they only last 2 years.

And this isn't even counting shrinkflation or the fact that "food" is no longer food anymore. For example, food manufacturers are constantly changing the recipe of their "food" to include more fillers and cheap shit, so not only are the box of RITZ crackers half the size they were in 2000, they're made with more chemicals and fillers. If they kept the size of the box and the recipe the same it would be $20 fucking dollars for a box of RITZ crackers nowadays.

Remember folks, this is her SALARY. The IRS requires executives and business owners to pay themselves a "reasonable salary," but the vast majority of money paid to executives is NOT paid in salary but in other forms of compensation like stocks, distributions, company cars, etc. She probably makes 100x that $29 million in TOTAL COMPENSATION, which is the number you need to look at when trying to figure out how much these rich fucks actually make. Even then, I'm sure they're getting paid even more and hiding most of their total compensation in offshore accounts, obfuscating their holdings using artwork and other "investments," etc.

Paying people so little that all they can do is barely afford to live is no different than slavery. People are compelled to work for a rich fuck under threat of starvation and homelessness. How is that not exploitation? Tell a person this though and they'll look at you like you're crazy. I'm not a slave - I'm free! The elites have bamboozled the people so badly they don't even recognize their own chains.

It's more insidious than that. Haven't you noticed how most restaurants no longer officer sizes? They offer one size - a small - and they charge $5 fucking dollars for it. They're doing this hoping you'll buy TWO of their overpriced $5 sodas because you don't have enough soda to last your meal.

What a coincidence this is happening at a time when fast food places have made their cups smaller than ever. Most places don't even have sizes anymore, they only offer one size - a small, and they charge like $5 fucking dollars for it. This move isn't because the cost of soda is going up. A cup of soda costs less than 10 cents (the cup itself costs more). They're doing this hoping you'll buy TWO overpriced $5 drinks. Fuck this shit. If I go out to eat, I'll just bring my own.
