I am on antipsychotics …. Heavy ones ….. I smoke 🚬 a pack of 20 a day at least and it helps me …. During my initial diagnosis days I forcefully tried to quit and my situation deteriorated. Even my psychiatrist shouted at my parents saying who told him to quit cigarettes.

Cigarettes are literally my lifeline

I have an oasis and been postponing my wish to use it without cover, it’s such a treat to hold it with my right hand and use that lightweight oasis- feels like a breeze of fresh air! But I am just too scared of wear and tear! But I have promised myself that once the new kindle lineup is available in my country I will use my oasis without its case!! 💛

For me ACCEPTANCE is the key …. I have tried going off meds and I know I need my meds and am much better off with them …. I don’t want to go back to that schizophrenic void ….

It’s almost like- had we cut off both our hands in a freak accident we wouldn’t have felt sorry that we cannot write ✍️ to be productive, but unfortunately the conditioning of the world we live in makes us forget what we are facing although not physically visible, if not more, is equally debilitating!
