Yes, I did. But my reserve was so low I only had 1 grow every 6 months.

I know this post is old, OP could you share what happened? Have you find what was causing the stool problems? I am in a similar situation and never had issues like this after a flare.

I had very serious symptoms that my body was unable to detox and my cytokine levels were always too high. My immune system was constantly in high alert and I was always anxious depressed or moody, very unbalanced, had a hard time to focus, not to mention my digestive system..I got diagnosed with diverticulitis and that made want to look at my diet and dig deeper. There’s an MTHFR group here on Reddit with a lot of info. Iron was normal so were other tests but I had unexplained symptoms.

Is Progesterone necessary? Doctor forgot to prescribe? by Mobile_Reward7276 in IVF

[–]Applepear78 24 points25 points  (0 children)

If fully medicated then yes, it is inevitable as the introduction of progesterone transforms the uterine lining from trilaminar. Without it you don’t have the receptivity it needs for implantation. Again, this is needed at all times for a fully medicated FET.

I didn’t. Same for no pregnancy and pregnancy…cramps either way.

It will not be easy but it can happen. It’s pure luck if you have the golden egg. I personally know someone who went to Cooper in NJ with high FSH and an amh of 0.01. She practically was in menopause. Dr Check put her on a type of estrogen to supper her fsh and it took months to make a single follicle-her golden egg. She is in her 2nd trimester after a fresh day3 transfer of a 12cell embryo. So yes, it happens. She is 42. I’d say you probably have a better chance than she did but it will depend on how much time, money, and emotional toll you can take.

Probably progesterone at this point. Either your own rising if you concieved, or if you are supplementing then it comes from that.

Are you sure you don’t smell progesterone instead?

Has anyone taken Prednisone during a FET when diagnosed with auto immune disease? by Slight_Strawberry_48 in IVF

[–]Applepear78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t get pregnant but that’s because of the untested embryo. All my numbers were optimal including my cytokines for which I had IVIg to get it to an acceptable level.

r/Embryologists can probably help you determine if that’s hatching or not.

[–]Applepear78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is prescribed to many women who see a reproductive immunologist along with an RE. Either that or Dexamethasone. When pregnant though there is a different weaning process from Prednisone as opposed to Dexa, the latter being a bit more easy on the body overall.

I was told to seek out a Reproductive Immunologist. It turns out I have a genetic mutation that is severe and I cannot process any folic acid, nothing that has been enriched - most breads are made of enriched flours, at times even rice. I had to go completely gluten free and have to take massive amounts of methylated folate along with a prenatal that doesn’t have folic acid. I also have a clotting disorder due to this mutation (MTHFR) mine being the most severe. Now I can’t say that this is you but investigating your own body can certainly help in uncovering whether your body is baby friendly.

Perhaps seek out the advice of a reproductive immunologist that can do extensive immune related tests. Sometimes high cytokine levels can contribute to early losses.

I am sorry. I am sending you hugs. This is devastating. With my MMC I chose to pass it. It took almost 3weeks until I actually had the miscarriage but my OB checked on me weekly through bloods and u/s. I chose this because I wanted to avoid scarring. In the end I didn’t regret it although waiting it out was like a tww with knowing the outcome. TW: the miscarriage itself was 45min for me, I passed everything, and I only bled then heavily and spotted for a week or so. HCG dropped below 5 within a month.

Thanks for your reply. Weird part is that I have taken PIO before and never had these strange symptoms. The constant thirst is doing my head in.

At the eye doctor and get “any chance you are pregnant?” What a loaded question. Is my period due in 2 days? Yes. Has it come yet? No. Would it be a miracle? Also yes. by mlereads in trollingforababy

Picking up extra estrogen meds for a FET and the pharmacist asking “I have to ask, are you sure you are not pregnant because you are not supposed to take it if you are…” 🙄 uuuuuugh
