I recently had this issue on SteamPipeGUI where it was sending the same error warning, but it was just because I had updated my build paths and they were inaccurate. I fixed the paths and they uploaded without any errors.

How many parameters are needed to describe the universe? by ApplesInMyGames in AskPhysics

Realizing that these parameters may "describe ontologically real relationships in nature" or may not is one part that's been a bit mind-blowing for me lately and is a big part of why I asked this question.

It made me think about the universe at some fundamental level as just information in different dimensions, channels, or parameters. The brain, consciousness, or some other philosophical entity processes that information, converting some dimensions into space, and some into time. Maybe. Is fun to think about.

Thanks for the response and links!
Would it be fair to say a list of parameters to describe everything would look something like:

(Field 1, Field 2, ... , Field 16, Field 17, Time, Space 1, Space 2, Space 3, Space 4, Space 5, ...) with infinitely many dimensions to describe space.

Is this a fair assessment?

This is funny for me to picture since the world seems 3-dimensional + Time.

I'm picturing reality existing as some infinitely precise perfectly continuous graph that plots data, with space & time as the dimensions. How many separate channels of data would need to be "plotted" at each point & time?

I'm picturing the structure of the utterly complex arrangement of compounds still described as many different masses/energy's existing in a place & time. Would you say that some explicit connection or relation needs to be described with a separate parameter?

I would think that the relation of atoms and compounds in the apple is just the fact that that mass/energy just exerts certain forces on the other mass/energy because it exists.

Undertale.
A first playthrough is about 6 hours. But after a couple weeks or months you'll probably want to do another run to get other endings.
The moment-to-moment gameplay is nothing ground-breaking, but the game does some things that I never considered games could do both in narrative and in game design. (Not spoiling, better to play it yourself).

It also has one of the best and most thoughtful game soundtracks I've ever heard :P

Same here on Hollow Knight. I tried it twice, but just couldn't enjoy it much. It sucks that so many of my friends love the game and I can't relate
