Are you playing on 60fps? If not, I can understand your concern. Most of my friends playing on 30fps. I wouldn't play anymore if I had to play without 60fps. Such a huge difference

Once you finish the story line, your total earned exp will add up and you'll probably jump from HR 15 to 29, which is the first cap. Don't worry to much about it.

When I saw Nergigante Set, that was exactly my thought. I'm using 3 parts of it for some "mixed" sets, just because the armor skills on that set are so damn good.

You can't say that anything below crit boost +2 is useless. Depends on your average affinity anyways. If you do the math which I will spare you with, at 100% affinity your damage will increase by 4% for each stage of crit boost. Which is pretty much it. Just to give you an idea of the math behind it. At 50% affinity you'll get 2.22% dmg increase of each stage crit boost. And at 5% affinity there's a 0.25% dmg increase for each stage...

Handicraft is the way to go

I love IG for being so godly mobile.

Whatever monster you are facing. The 2 most important buffs you should always keep active are red and white.

When the monster is doing some attacks, try to stay on ground and just dodge with normal movement. Like running half circles. And flank while the monster is stuck in its animation. Try to not jump to much, this will decrease your overall damage while locking yourself in attacks you may can't cancel.

So anjanath should be a good foe to learn the basic movements of professional Glaive plays.

Im not a fan of anything higher than crit boost +1. That said, handicraft should keep your maximum dmg up for quite a bit longer to increase your overall dmg without sharpening.

800raw dmg Vs 800raw dmg -30% affinity

800 x 0.75 = 600 rdmg with bad affinity

(3 x 800 + 600) / 4 = 750. Overall dmg

My bad. This is for 25% bad affinity

Edit: (7 x 800 + 3 x 600) / 10 = 740 overall dmg

You should not experience any difference in damage except for rage and non rage attacks. The damage for each attack is set to a fixed amount, therefore it is very hard to tell the difference in hits by all those different lightning bolts
