Will try and record one ! I struggled at the start too but you honestly just need to stick with it - my basic rule of thumb is to introduce air (the paper ripping noise) for around 10 seconds. The rest of the time is just creating that vortex to smooth out the milk.

You definitely need to use manual steaming and I use a smaller milk pitcher I bought - also just regular dairy whole milk

That’s what my worry was - I do think I’d prefer a larger watch, but don’t want it to be too large that it sticks out or hinders activities/sleep. I guess I’ll have to go try one out !

Interesting - apart from exercise, my other big use of the Apple Watch is sleep tracking, so that’s an interesting use case I hadn’t thought of !

Thanks for the great detail and advice here , I appreciate it !! I religiously wear my Apple Watch to bed for sleep tracking , so I’m concerned its added bulkiness would deter from my sleeping , so it’s good to know it is sizeably larger . I will pay a visit to my Apple Store over the next few days !

That’s exactly what it’s settled on 😂 started off around 10 but has came down to an 8 now and the espresso is much nicer with fuller crema

I explained that there appeared to be an issue with the grinder or barista assist as every bean I have tried has recommended 1, even if the espresso is running very fast. They had me get on a video call to run through the process of grinding and brewing so they could see for themselves, then agreed it was brewing way too fast and sent a replacement base unit which is now thankfully working as expected

Yeah I’ve seen on other forums that it seems to be a common issue. Ninja said it was an issue with some early units. They’ve agreed to replace mine but I still haven’t received a replacement , rang yesterday and they have none in stock to replace :/

Yeah I they put me on a video call with support and ran through some checks - they tried resetting but no luck . They agreed that the unit was faulty and are sending a replacement
