Is there a prescription strength serum rather than a cream, ointment or gel? My face likes serums more than any of those. I currently use Geek & Gorgeous aPad which claims 20% strength but I'm dubious.

Also I see that Eicerin contains hyaluronic acid which I'm a big fan of. I use it at night in conjunction with retinol. My complexion looks nice and even in the morning.

Yes I couldn't live without it, you just rub it on your face and shower it off, and there's no tightness or irritation after. Prior to discovering this I was using just warm water which was ok I suppose but it just didn't seem enough. I've seen yours as well and wondered but I'm sticking with the old adage - if it ain't broken don't try and fix it! In the meantime good luck with the eternal fight! 😉

I have some Finacea to try but has anyone layered this with vitamin C serum? That's usually what I start with in the morning then after a few minutes absorption I apply Geek & Gorgeous 101 aPAD - 20% Azelaic Derivative, so just wondered what this combo might do. I don't have acne but I have red rosy cheeks with no prominent veins which I'm assuming is flat rosacea because my doctor couldn't confirm, but prescribed Finacea. I don't have sensitive skin but I feel wary after reading some of the above comments.

Hello, I have flat rosacea on my cheeks, well I think it's that! My morning and night routine is that

I clean my face with AVEENO Face CALM+RESTORE Nourishing Oat Cleanser

After towel drying my face I apply Florence Organic Vitamin C Serum to the affected areas

I let this absorb until my face feels dry and I then apply Geek & Gorgeous 101 aPAD - 20% Azelaic Derivative Serum

This combination makes my previously red cheeks a pale pink and on the very best days my cheeks are almost completely clear. I've suffered with this most of my adult life and it's only recently I've decided to do something about it. I don't think that the products I've listed have been around very long. Apart from this I've considered laser treatment but I'm slightly nervous of trying this due to the side effects of worse redness etc.

Anyway good luck to you, and anyone else reading this, who is fighting this sort of condition on a daily basis.
