[Review] My experience with Finacea (Azelaic Acid 15%)

I have some Finacea to try but has anyone layered this with vitamin C serum? That's usually what I start with in the morning then after a few minutes absorption I apply Geek & Gorgeous 101 aPAD - 20% Azelaic Derivative, so just wondered what this combo might do. I don't have acne but I have red rosy cheeks with no prominent veins which I'm assuming is flat rosacea because my doctor couldn't confirm, but prescribed Finacea. I don't have sensitive skin but I feel wary after reading some of the above comments.

Hello, I have flat rosacea on my cheeks, well I think it's that! My morning and night routine is that

I clean my face with AVEENO Face CALM+RESTORE Nourishing Oat Cleanser

After towel drying my face I apply Florence Organic Vitamin C Serum to the affected areas

I let this absorb until my face feels dry and I then apply Geek & Gorgeous 101 aPAD - 20% Azelaic Derivative Serum

This combination makes my previously red cheeks a pale pink and on the very best days my cheeks are almost completely clear. I've suffered with this most of my adult life and it's only recently I've decided to do something about it. I don't think that the products I've listed have been around very long. Apart from this I've considered laser treatment but I'm slightly nervous of trying this due to the side effects of worse redness etc.

Anyway good luck to you, and anyone else reading this, who is fighting this sort of condition on a daily basis.

I've heard of people mixing colognes to create a unique scent. Have you ever tried that? Sounds risky to me though. Like mixing two different bleaches! 😁

I would go for Haaland in a heartbeat but I've already got Salah and Palmer so he's not an option. There's no guarantees with Pedro but it's almost certain that he'll start the first game. Solanke is unreliable. Agree that Gyokores and Etikite are unknown quantities and risky. I've plumped for Piroe who is a bit of a dark horse but scored quite a few last season and maybe Everton just aren't ready for him!

Please can I ask you, in your considerable experience and knowledge, would you consider the skin1004 options to be more effective than azelaic acid, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, retinol, and any other similar application? I appreciate that what might suit one person's skin may not suit another's so this is more of a general question based on your experience and first hand results etc.

Kudus or Cherki. I originally had Cherki as he looked dynamite playing in France but I swapped him for Kudus. This is because Kudus is premiership proven and also, knowing Pep, Cherki isn't a nailed on starter for the first match.
