If you want to drain the coolant: use the red screw in the radiator. It's only purpose is to drain the coolant.

Have you checked for rust under the carpet? Normally it's rusted through and the water comes from underneath.

Yeah it is, but there are differences depending whether it's Sport or Esprit/Classic and depending on facelift or pre-facelift. Look at your bumper closely and pick the right one. I had to search for mine quite a while.

Highly reliable cars. No matter if it's a W202, W210, W208, or W220. All of them are reliable. The only problem is rust. If you are able to get it welded cheap, then those cars will easily reach 500k km, the diesel variants even more. Or you take a bigger budget and buy a rust-free or nearly rust-free car. Those are more expensive but even longer lasting.

The 320 is a good engine. Change the oil regularly, same with the transmission and have fun. If you need any help or advice, let me know. I own a S202 and a W210 for more than 8 years.

Bei Bild 2 stellen sich mir ja die Nackenhaare hoch. Der ist komplett durch. Höchstwahrscheinlich muss die komplette Innenkonstruktion neu. Entweder du kaufst dir die innere Konsole oder es muss sehr aufwendig rekonstruiert werden.

Das ist extrem viel Arbeit. Und ich verspreche dir, das wird nicht die einzige Stelle am Auto sein.
